Patience-day3

2 Peter 1:2,6-7 - "Grace and peace be multiplied unto you through the knowledge of God, and of Jesus our Lord. And to knowledge temperance; and to temperance patience; and to patience godliness; and to godliness brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness charity."

As we learn more about the Lord Jesus Christ, we will exercise self-control.  As we learn to control ourselves: words, actions, indulgences, then we will become more patient.  As we become more patient, then we begin to become more godly, meaning we begin to treat others and see others as God sees and treats them.  As this process takes place, we will receive peace in our lives and have grace returned to us as we exercise it toward others.

Proverbs 25:28- "He that hath no rule over his own spirit is like a city that is broken down, and without walls [easily influenced by the evil one]."
