Patience-day 4

Alma 7:23- "And now I would that ye should be humble, and be submissive and gentle; easy to be entreated, full of patience and long-suffering...."

Alma 17:11- "...ye shall be patient in long-suffering and afflictions, that ye may show forth good examples unto them in me, and I will make an instrument of thee in my hands...."

Promise:
Alma 32:43- "Ye shall reap the rewards of faith, and your diligence, and patience, and long-suffering, waiting for the [love of God to bring forth the blessings]."

And so I pray and calmly wait.

I know not if the blessing sought 

will come just in the way I thought, 

but leave my prayers with Him alone, 

whose ways are wiser than my own--

Assured that He will grant my quest,

or send some answer far more blessed.
