I am so glad that through the trials of the last few years I chose to stay close to the Lord. He and I have walked a long road together. We've talked a lot! I've argued, pleaded, tried to do better, repeated the process, and then finally submitted to His will, trusting that He knew me and my circumstances and loved me and my family more than I could ever comprehend. I chose not to worry, which can be so hard when you feel like you are in despair. It's been hard and continues to be a challenge. However, I like what he is striving to make of me. I think and hope that I am becoming a better daughter of God. I realize that I am still such a child, but I can only imagine what I will be like when I am all grown up!
