Kind Thoughts

Let us oft think kind words of each other

  1. At home or where’er we may be;
    Thoughts of joy, hope and love of each other,
    The thoughts will bring happiness and peace.
    They’ll gladden the heart that’s repining,
    Give courage and hope from above,
    And where the dark clouds hide the shining,
    Let in the bright sunlight of love.
Oh, the kind thoughts we think shall in memory live
And sunshine forever impart.
Let us oft think kind words of each other;
Kind thoughts are the messages from the heart.
(Adapted from the Hymn "Let Us Oft Speak Kind Words" by Joseph L. Townsend)

"Think of your brethren like unto yourselves"
(Jacob 2:17)

"I am satisfied that if we would look for the virtues in one another and not the vices, there would be much more of happiness in the homes or our people."
(Gordon B. Hinckley, April 4, 1998)

"We must guard against faultfinding, anger, and disrespect one for another."
(Gordon B. Hinckley, April 4, 1999)
