Do you have some activity that is therapeutic for you?
The activity that calms you down in ways like nothing else does?
After two weeks with no therapy, I spent my morning in my therapeutic activity of gardening. For me, gardening is a chance to get out of the walls of my home and all the summer noise and chaos that it can inhabit at times. I can go outside to a different form of noise and chaos: lawnmower and weeds. But really, it is a time of deep reflection, dream planning, and communion with God. I don't wear headphones and listen to music, talks, books, or the news; it's just me and nature. And even though my body is very weary when I am done with my therapy, I am always glad I participated. I can see the results in my garden and in my uplifted spirit.
If you don't have a therapy just for you,
I highly suggest you discover one.
