Parental Pay Day

Recently one of my daughters shared with us about an experience she had standing up for her faith and her church.  The most rewarding part of this experience as a parent is the fact that she was by herself (no friends or family), in public, and she stood up to two grown men.  She didn't have to raise her voice for her beliefs.  No one she knew would have known, but she did it!  Two observers to the event gave different support to my daughter.  One said, "Wow! I could have never done that."  The other observer, an employee at the store, said, "Give me a high five! That was great!"

My daughter shared that she was so scared, but that she felt like she had to say something.  Not only did she say it, but apparently she said it loud and proud, and on her own.
